We're getting ready to leave for vacation. We decided not to do DC this year after all. DH has been working crazy hours and typically 7 days a week for months now, and needed a slower paced vaca.
So, we're going to St. Simon's Island, GA. We rented a condo and will be there for almost a week. One really nice thing, is that since we're staying in a condo, it means we don't have to eat every meal out. I'm taking cereal and bagel thins for breakfasts. We'll probably stick to sandwiches and salads for lunch. I'm taking some organic beef for burgers one night and spaghetti one night, and then we'll wing it from there.

How could you go to any state in the union and say you are not for an extra couple of cents to eradicate hunger, to make our kids healthier, stronger, better focused?” she said. “It doesn’t make any sense that you would even have to have a long conversation about that, to me.”http://www.edhardytime.com/ As New York’s junior senator, Kirsten E. Gillibrand, tries to squeeze billions of extra dollars for public school lunch programs into a pinched budget, she is relying on a powerful and garrulous megaphone: Ms. Ray. http://www.tf-mart.com/

Enjoy it! As much as I love a nice hotel, staying in a condo IS so much easier for healthy eating (and saving money!) because you can "do it yourself" for some meals.
