As I posted here before, I started doing a workout called T-Tapp. It focuses on inch loss, lowering sugar levels, and rehabilitation of joint and back pain. I am doing a 60 Day self-directed challenge. I sent in my day one pictures and measurements, and will do so again on day 30 and day 60. This is the first workout DVD (there are actually two workouts on one DVD) I've stuck with for more than one month. I feel better and stronger when I do it. There is the Basic Workout and Step Away the Inches, which I believe is comparable to Walk Away the Pounds workout. The difference is form. T-Tapp focuses big time on form and how you stand for total body inch loss.
I am hoping to win the challenge. If you win, you get a trip to Florida for a weekend of health and wellness training.
I am more motivated to workout and eat right knowing I am involved in this challenge.
Wish me luck!!! I plan to post my initial, 30-day, and 60-day challenge pics here. Here's hoping for a body change!!! Jill
I have no specific goal(s) right now. I am trying to find the spiritual side of myself that I lost somewhere along the way.

My favorite spot of the WW commercial with the orange monster is when the woman opens up her laptop and the monster opens up a pizza box next to her and pretends to type on the pizza. Makes me giggle every time.

I forgot to mention that the grand prize challenge winner is selected from the entries from the 60-Day SELF-Directed Challenge(which is what I'm doing) and the 60-Day Challenge, which is more of a guided challenge. You can actually enter both and use the better of the two challenges as your entry-although there must be stipulations because it would be a bit unfair to do both-you'd have a lot more time to lose-I'm guessing you could do a second entry if you didn't do so well on the first, not sure? So I think there going to be a LOT of entries but I am not discouraged.
A few of you asked about eating. There is no regimented diet plan they have you follow. In some of their literature, they discuss healthy eating: whole grains, fresh fruit/veggies, lean proteins-basically eating smart. Theresa herself follows a God-Made, Man-Made food plan. I don't know a whole lot about it. She does not state anywhere that you must eat using that plan to see results. I gather that she promotes eating the KD way, the way most everyone here tries to eat by avoiding processed foods, eating healthy 90% of the time and allowing for the occasional splurge.
One thing I am going to try and cut out is red wine. I don't drink a ton of it, but like to have a glass or two with dinner and occasionally a little more on weekends if we go out or are with friends. I figured in the calories for even just a few glasses a week and that is definitely hindering my weight loss. I love red wines and love trying different kinds so I don't want to completely cut it out. I do however need to cut back on the take-out, dinners-out. They are getting more and more frequent.

Dena and I have joined an 8 week self-directed challenge at the Y. We were already working on losing weight but thought the challenge would add a little zip and keep us motivated. There will be prizes but what they are has not been revealed (it will NOT be a trip to Fla. ) but the prizes are just secondary anyway.
