I just gotta post because I am so happy with my new washer and dryer.

We bought frontloader Whilrpool Duets with steam. OMG! I have never had clothing smell so fresh and look so good. (I had a frontloader previous to this and thought my clothing was pretty clean and smelled fine.)

I was opposed to the steam/sanitize option because of cost, but dh talked me into it. (He knows I am a sucker for super clean.) I did not think the steam option would be worth it. But I am so happy and loving the laundry.

Anyone else enjoying laundry today?

I don't mind laundry, but I wouldn't go as far as to say I love it. I do really enjoy grocery shopping and shopping for home stuff (detergents, cleaners, ziplock bags, etc.) at Target.

I LOVE grocery shopping too! I never grumble about going to the grocery store! I do not enjoy laundry though.

Please, no one shoot me for saying this...

I LOVE laundry and grocery shopping. These are my favorite chores. I get a huge amount of satisfaction when I get everything folded and put away, and sleep on freshly washed sheets. Unfortunately, I am going to have to go hide at Starbucks to get any homework done today, because I have so many things to do here at home. So laundry will be a two day affair.

I'll trade laundry & grocery shopping for anyone who wants to do my between cleaning service visits vacuuming & dusting... Big Grin

We have a high-efficiency front end loader, sold under the Sears Kenmore Elite brand name, that is quite nice. If memory serves, that's manufactured by Whirlpool too.

Do you use the steam/sanitize for most loads? Or some? I'm feeling like I want to just keep using it and using it...

I'm doing laundry today and not enjoying it one bit.

I do have to say that my washer is showing signs of starting to die and I can't wait!
