A few months ago, I did an un-scientific poll, "Is your metabolism on FIRE! since you've been lifting weights?" (I thought if I saw one more article, "Set your metabolism ON FIRE with these muscle building exercises!!!" - I'd be sick. Razzer)

Saw this interesting article that confirms that most of us are not burning mega calories and haven't experienced a REVVED up metabolism from strength training. Smiler

(Strength training has LOTS of benefits… but being able to eat a LOT more isn’t one of them. Smiler)
