Merry Christmas to all!

Hey all!

First off, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, etc. to everyone of you.

I have not fallen off the planet, I promise. I still check in everyday. The last few months have been insane. School got nuts (no more three classes for Laura), I decided to run an extra half in December (and would do it again) so training couldn't get chucked when school got crazy, and I strained a ligament in my knee in late October that made training a whole lot less fun.

School ended up pretty well, I just missed by preferred 3.0 by .08 points (grrr), and I think I am more settled now on what I want to do when I graduate. Big Grin

Then I headed to Charlotte for a family slumber party, err, half marathon with my aunt, uncle and cousin (way fun) and to FL to visit my sister's family. On top of the worst race ever (migraines and half marathons don't mix by the way), my nephew came down with croup and took out all 3 adults in the house with him. Eeker Flying home was all kinds of fun. NOT.

So here it is Christmas day and I decided I finally needed to pop my cyber head in. Razzer Plus I am finally on the mend between being sick and injured. I am down for 1-2 more weeks on the running (I hope) and head back to school in 2 weeks.

Go easy on the cookies Wink and here's to a great new year for all!

Laura

Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.

Good to hear from you Laura!

Hope that your knee will bee 100% soon and that you are able to rest and relax over the break.

Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.

Laura-hope you are back to felling better soon!

I have no specific goal(s) right now. I am trying to find the spiritual side of myself that I lost somewhere along the way.
