Sorry, folks! I completely forgot about putting up the new challenge thread for week 10 until just now! Better late than never, I suppose.
I have been pleased with how I'm doing on eliminating sweets at work. I started out with eliminating the late afternoon sweet snack in late July and just recently began eliminating the bitesize chocolate I have after lunch. I haven't taken a Dove Promise to work in 2 weeks. I am, however, still using a piece of hard candy...the BIG challenge will be weaning myself off of sweets all together after I eat.
How are you doing?
Which of your habits are you most pleased with yourself about?
Are there any you're a little disappointed about?
Summer Se7en Challenge Goals: 1. Add back core & toning work + weight work 1X each per week to start. 2. Tackle the Sugar Monster--Have a sugar free mint after lunch and dinner, wait 20 minutes, and reassess the need for a sweet treat.

I am still up and down with healthy habits. I did go to a weight watchers meeting Sat. am, just to see what it was like...and went to the gym Sat. Yesterday I stayed home with husband and watched sports...go Red Sox..Go Patriots....I did nibble too much chex mix though...On the positive, we went out for Chinese Sat. night and I got tofu and mushrooms - instead of fried stuff and only had a couple appetizers....I did pass on the Friday chocolate chip cookies at work - but did nibble on potato chips on Thursday....
I'm off on vacation all next week. Could someone put up the Week 11 Journal this Sunday or Monday for me? I should be home by the following Sunday or Monday to put up the Week 12 Journal.
Thanks!!!
P.S. My report so far: 1. I've exercised Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, so 3 of 4 so far.
2. Worknight FLY habit has not gone well this week at ALL. I'll be packing for my trip tonight and paying my bills and taking out trash before I go, so I suppose I'm getting in a little--even if it is all crammed at one time. LOL
3. Cutting sweets habit going well--not perfect by a long shot, but frankly it is surprising me how easy this is going most days, esp. considering the stress I've been under.

I've had a good last 2 days and am feeling back on track with sticking to my pre-set plan.
I felt like I was getting too many BLTs earlier in the week and I wanted to nip that behavior in the bud before it got out of hand.
summer 7 challenge goals: - Meditate every day - Start the day with positive imagery and self talk Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.
My eating isn't "clean", but I'm fairly moderate. At least there's no weight gain, if that can be considered an indicator.
My exercise is nonexistent. I've managed to pull a big thigh muscle somehow. Yesterday I went walking in the hopes it had just cramped and the walk would do some good. I came home limping.
I haven't missed any classes and I'm not behind yet, but there's a midterm report coming up shortly...
All in all, I could do better, but haven't got the energy.

Despite some school not quite successes, my eating has been very good. As has my exercise. Right now, I'm trying to just maintain the status quo with the habits I've created, because I just don't have the mental energy to keep adding new stuff to my already stressed out brain.
I wish I knew how to bottle that success and put it toward school...
