I got this healthy cooking cookbook for Christmas. You know I'm not much of a cookbook/recipe person, but I think I might actually USE this one once in a while. What is brilliant about it, from the little I've seen thus far, is that it gives the recipe for two people and then gives it for just one so you don't have to do the math. Glory Hallelujah!
I know this won't be applicable to most of you since many of you have children, but I thought I'd mention it for the few other singles or couples-without-children that are members here:
This is the path straight to amazon and not through KD's store, so if you do decide to buy it, just make note of the link and buy it through KD's store so she gets the bennies. Thanks.
Rest of Summer Goals: 1. Exercise-Cardio: Min. 2-3 walking or DVD cardio workouts per week. 2. Exercise-Weights/Toning: Min. 1 weight plus 1 toning workout per week. 3. Food: Get those veggie servings back up to where they were! 4. Behavior: Start reducing sweets now that the automatic after-meal response is better.

This would be great since it is just myself and Morgan! Most cookbooks I have-the recipes serve 4 to 6 or even 8 people. Depending on the recipe I sometimes make the full serving and use the rest as leftovers or freeze whatever is left but I would definitely like to check out this book.

Summer Challenge Goals: 1) Walk 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week 2) Plan weekly menus
Sound like just what I need since most of what I cook is just for me. Even though I live with two other people (my parents) we all fix our own meals seperately.
I'm sure dd would like it also since she doesn't always eat with the family she lives with.
