Hard to believe we're already up to the bit 4-Oh! How's it going? Let's do at least a little something every day. If you do more than a little -- even better!

Friday I was off work since I had to work Monday so, since it was cool and raining (DRAT--I was hoping for a sunny powerwalk day!), I headed to the gym:

25 minutes of lower body weight training\
55 minutes cardio (bike/ellip/stepper/treadmill)

Plan for tomorrow:
20-30 minutes of upper body weight training
60 minutes cardio (step aerobics class w/toning & abs)

Did an "Uphill Run" for 20 minutes on the incline treadmill today. Wow, was I sweating. My daughter thought it was funny that I was taking ANOTHER shower, and wanted to know if she was going to have to take another bath : ).

FINALLY got myself up for a little exercise this morning, but it was still really difficult. Many of us who worked on the project are still dragging from the early and long hours even though, in my case, I have slept marvelously the past two nights. I was still pretty comatose at 5:30 this morning, so I decided to do my 30-minute balance ball workout which is a "kinder, gentler" workout than many of my DVDs so I was able to slowly wake up while I was balancing on the ball. Did my 45 minute Upper Body Workout today. Legs are still sore from Monday, I have to drop onto the toilet. I'll be glad when that's over. Darn those walking lunges....

Hi Stephanie!

Well, I did 10 pushups in the AM and 10 in the PM yesterday. PT today. Went well!

Whew, I have been a total loser at exercise so far this week. Due to the special work hours I had on Monday and Tuesday, I had to be up at 5 a.m. on Monday and 4 a.m. on Tuesday to be in downtown DC by 8 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., respectively. I couldn't afford to give up any more of my already too little sleep to make room for exercise in that schedule.

I had planned to return to exercise this morning with either upper body weights or ab work but the lack of sleep from the two previous nights and the draining work days had me totally comatose, so this morning's workout alarm went bye-bye.

Hoping to get back on track tomorrow!

Howdy! I'm won't be jumping in at 40 that's for sure, but I can begin today with 7 crunches. One for each week of Little Lane's life. Maybe it will help me keep up with how old he is. So here I go.... down for 7.
