I've been thinking about you this week... I went skydiving at AerOhio in Rittman on Saturday. It was AWESOME! Knowing your affinity for coasters I would highly recommend it. I can't wait to go again. I'll try to post some pictures if I can remember how.
Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.
Really Laura??? I thought for sure this would be right up your ally!
Really. I hate to fly. It doesn't matter how short a flight it is, I'm a basket case from the time I get to the airport until I get picked up at my destination. It's bad enough to be stuck in a tube that I can't get out of on my own, with nothing attached to the ground. To voluntarily jump out of the afore mentioned tube attached to nothing with nothing to catch you??? Nope.
I've said it since I flew for the first time: if I ever end up in any sort of airplane emergency (even if I land safely), I'll never, ever get on a plane again.
The only reason I got onto the sky coaster is because it was attached to the ground. I'll get on any roller coaster of any height because I know that they are well grounded.
Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.
Great pix, Brie! Thanks for sharing them. Skydiving is one of those things that I THINK I would love to do...and then I think about my fear of heights...which isn't extreme, but still can send my heart racing.

Goals: 1. Stop thinking like a chronic dieter and start living to inspire. 2. HALT (hungry, anxious, lonely, tired) I will stop and tune in with myself should I experience these things, and respond with something healthy. 3. One word 2008: courage 4. Eat slow and mindfully.
But I don't think so, no way, no how. I don't like planes or flying to begin with, and darn near require a sedative just to go to Florida to see my sister & nephew.
The closest I'll ever get to skydiving (this isn't me in the pic, but I did ride this twice)was this at Cedar Point:
