I've been thinking about you this week...
I went skydiving at AerOhio in Rittman on Saturday. It was AWESOME! Knowing your affinity for coasters I would highly recommend it. I can't wait to go again. I'll try to post some pictures if I can remember how.

Really Laura??? I thought for sure this would be right up your ally!

Really. I hate to fly. It doesn't matter how short a flight it is, I'm a basket case from the time I get to the airport until I get picked up at my destination. It's bad enough to be stuck in a tube that I can't get out of on my own, with nothing attached to the ground. To voluntarily jump out of the afore mentioned tube attached to nothing with nothing to catch you??? Eeker Nope.

I've said it since I flew for the first time: if I ever end up in any sort of airplane emergency (even if I land safely), I'll never, ever get on a plane again.

The only reason I got onto the sky coaster is because it was attached to the ground. I'll get on any roller coaster of any height because I know that they are well grounded. Wink

Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.

Great pix, Brie! Thanks for sharing them. Skydiving is one of those things that I THINK I would love to do...and then I think about my fear of heights...which isn't extreme, but still can send my heart racing.

1st Qtr. 2010 Goals:
1. Continue gym 3X week until it is a habit.
2. Read, write, sew or craft at least 30 mins. per day.
3. Regain control over eating > 8 p.m.

I'm with you! Although, not sure that ice in the dark thing would work for me either.

Jill

Goal for next 6 weeks:

Go to the gym 3x/week for a minimum of 45 minutes each time

Iz - DO IT! Free falling is the most amazing sensation ever! I'm hoping to be able to take my second jump at the end of next month for my birthday.

definitely on MY bucket list!

Goals:
1. Stop thinking like a chronic dieter and start living to inspire.
2. HALT (hungry, anxious, lonely, tired) I will stop and tune in with myself should I experience these things, and respond with something healthy.
3. One word 2008: courage
4. Eat slow and mindfully.

How Cool!!!!

Not sure if I'll ever do it. It isn't exactly on my bucket list or anything.

But it does seem cool!

Congrats, Brie!

But I don't think so, no way, no how. Razzer I don't like planes or flying to begin with, and darn near require a sedative just to go to Florida to see my sister & nephew.

The closest I'll ever get to skydiving (this isn't me in the pic, but I did ride this twice)was this at Cedar Point:

the first step

the worst part: walking to the plane

the best part - the free fall

The canopy ride
