The veggies..can be absolutely anything - carrots, zuchini, cucumbers, snow or snap peas, green onions, asparagus, jicama, daikon, beets or whatever you need to get rid of.
I'll tell Miho you enjoyed the story. She just started a new round of chemo today but seems to be in better spirits. She tries to stay in Ann Arbor (about 25 mins to an hour away depending on traffic)for the 3 days of chemo treatments every 11 days. But I'll bet my spatula she'll be back tomorrow. She LOVES her "gray baby tiger"!
KD,
I'll be thinking of you and Miho and hope all turns out well with the chemo. My dad, himself, will be going through radiation in a couple of weeks, first round of 33 treatments (4th time he's had cancer now). It's a tough road, but you have a beautiful sprit and sounds like Miho is a fighter (love that!)..and I know you'll be there for her.
Know we are all praying for you and Miho and that all turns out well. Hope the treatments are too rough and that her spirit stays up. Take care.
