Wondering how it went...
I had a good time handing out candy, but it was cold here!

My plan Wink was not to eat any candy, but I ended up eating 3 fun size bars with dd. Not perfect, but not bad either.

Leftover candy is already in the freezer. None is out. I'll forget about it- I always do when it's in the basement freezer.

We didn't have any candy in our house because we don't give it out. And I don't like most commercial candy anyway, so I usually don't eat much of it.

I did find sweettarts (which I love), smarties, and a tootsie pop on the sidewalks while I was out running today. Smiler They stayed there, although I WAS tempted to pick up the smarties & sweet tarts. Roll Eyes

I just saw on the news that a local dentist is paying $1 per pound for leftover Halloween candy. He is also giving out coupons and dental suplies for leftover candy. Then all the candy collected will be sent to soldiers overseas.

I've gone ALL MONTH, without a single snack!

Oh, that's right, it's only the start of the 2nd. Smiler

As for Halloween, thankfully, there were no mini candy bars around for me to grab. I can't resist those - one after another.

Goal: Stop stress snacking.

We have way too much candy in the house. DH manned the door for the first time and was too stingy with how much he gave out so we have all of dd's trick or treat candy plus 1/2 of ours left over : (

I ate one portion size Saturday and yesterday. I hate halloween : )

candy wa s not a problem for me at all. the brownie sundae was the issue. but it was good, and i put in an hour at the gym on sunday (which is usually my rest day) and then i was pretty darn clean all day sunday.

we had a blast for halloween. i love how some people really get into it. i was attacked by a fairy carrying a can of silly string. assault with deadly weapon...

Goals:
1. Enjoy life!
2. Be aware, be awake, pay attention.
3. One word 2010: faith

We didn't even buy any "to have on hand" Wink this year. It has been about 5 years since anyone has come to our door.

Did buy a bunch and take it to Dena's school for their "trunk or treat" but it stayed in the car until time to give it out. I manned the trunk for her since she was still working.

I even gave out "goodie bags" to the adults. It had a Kashi Snack bar and Avon brochures, flyers and samples in it along with an Avon 2010 Calendar. Wink

I haven't done candy at the door for Halloween for years and last year didn't have a single kid come to my new place here at the beach cuz we have so few kids in the area.

I was up in Maryland this weekend visiting my friends, the 2 sisters. They really wanted to do the candy at the door thing, so we bought witch hats and I put Missy in costume and we played a board game while we waited for the kids to come by. We made a pact that we could have no candy until we closed the door to trick or treaters at 8 p.m.

After that, I had 2 or 3 mini-Mounds bars but that was it.

I'll fess up. I made the mistake of buying candy early. I ate way too much of it. Normally, I don't do too badly with the candy, but this year was bad for me.
