Anyone heard of Alice.com? (named after the Alice on Brady Bunch Wink) Clark Howard was talking about them on the news last week.

I am thinking of giving it a try for toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, etc (but not for food items). We buy those items in large quantities and since we don't get them every week we sometimes run short if I don't think to check them. Alice has a reminder system and shipping is free.

Clark Howard says they are more expensive than WalMart and Target where he did some comparison shopping but he did not compare them to regular stores like Kroger or Publix. I plan to compare their prices and see if the convience is worth it on those "sometimes items".

Atlanta had an on-line grocery option a few years ago (pea-pod) but I think they left for lack of local customers.
