It's been a while so I thought I would check in. I haven't made the plan to check in daily, but the committment I made to you guys in my mind every day.
The situation at work isn't any better and the odds of it changing any time soon are slim and none. Some days, of course, I react better than others. But I am doing something nurturing for me each day.
Like everybody else here, some days my food choices are healthier and better than other days. This week I'm on an add shift and it makes it hard because I don't necessarily feel like eating when I get the chance and a couple of days the things I've fixed ahead don't appeal. Stess eating/not eating I guess will always be something I have to be on guard for. But I think I am learning something Dr. Phil preaches. You fix food issues with food and you fix non-food issues with non-food tools. It sounds so simple HUH? IT"S NOT! But we can do it.
Once again, thank all of you for being here. Especially you KD. And {{HUGS}} once again to Bee who's having a very challenging week.
The part about fixing non- food issues with food is a good reminder to me too. I also know that trying to do that is not only ineffective, but it makes things WORSE all around.
You're welcome Denise. I don't really watch Dr. Phil- he's on at a time I'm not home here. But I heard that on a promo or on an evening special he had. It made sense.
