Glad to hear about the fun summer travel.

We've had a nice summer- can't believe it is nearly over!

We had family visit from NJ earlier this summer. We made some nice day trips here and there, but otherwise have enjoyed lots of time at the pool and with friends locally.

My weight's been stable this sumer. I have lots of cardiac testing this fall and am working to lose a few pounds before the doctor visits and tests.

So excited to see the replies!!! YEA!

My summer has been good, despite my mom's health issues. She starts radiation soon but it looks like no chemo-so that's good. My dd will be a senior this year! She still is not licensed to drive but she does have a permit. I have put on the several lbs I lost this spring but I'm working on dumping those soon. I found out that I LOVE spin classes! I have only been to a few but I'm hooked. Now-if I could just get myself to the gym more often....

I am heading into what will surely be a hectic 3 1/2 months. I start classes again next Thursday, am working FT, looking for a PT job at a hotel to start gaining some experience for my transition into my new career. I think I may have to skip dance classes, at least until January. I have accounting this fall which I am not very good at so this class will be tough and a lot of work.

My goal is to find balance not only with my time but within myself.

Hope to see more updates!!!

Jill

PS: Brie-have not lkd at your pics yet but that is a dream vacation of mine!!

I have no specific goal(s) right now. I am trying to find the spiritual side of myself that I lost somewhere along the way.

My summer was fairly uneventful. I managed to put on a few pounds though Roll Eyes This is my second week back at work after a month of vacation, and I'm adjusting very slowly. Weight and life goals are much the same as always (sigh): Lose some more weight, keep it off, pursue emotional and physical wellbeing/harmony, and enjoy the good things I have. Some days it's easier, some days not. I've never been able to "just do it".

I've been wondering where everyone is, too. Hope you all check in!

This summer, we spent two weeks in Europe -- Italy and the Czech Republic. Believe it or not, the food was better in the CR! After about a week of jet lag, we're back to normal, just in time for school to start today.

I'm training for the Race for the Cure 5K at the end of September. I've run it before, but as you may have guessed, it's so much more important to me this year. My goal is to break 30 minutes. If I stick to the training program for six weeks, I should be fine.

Kind of looking forward to fall. Always a fun time.

Great idea Jill! I miss hearing from everyone and like you, I check in every day too and have been sad at the lack of activity.

We had a great summer here. I turned 40 in July and went to Ireland with my dh. It was the best vacation I've ever had. Loved everything - the people, the food, the music and the vistas. I have pictures up on shutterfly: http://share.shutterfly.com/sh...&sid=0AaOGLho0YtGLj4

We also spent a week in Chicago over 4th of July which was great and saw my brother and his family who came in for a week from TX.

DD went to her first sleep away camp - I was a wreck but she had a great time : )

School starts a week from today so we are in back to school mode right now.

Looking forward to hearing from everyone!

PS I'm working on losing about 10 pounds. So much easier going on than it is coming off!
I got the Wii fit for my b-day so I've added 30 minutes/day of that on top of my usual workouts. I've lost a couple of pounds since returning from vacation but I still have more to go.
