I'm going to cry a little here, no one has to do anything, say anything, just let me shed some tears, and panic slightly.

Our landpeople are in their 80's. She has lymphoma and is very sick. We have lived in their house (one of 15) for over 15 years. Although we don't want to stay here or buy the house, it is home, and I can't think of moving yet....the task is just too big for me to comprehend. Well, I've been waiting for this day to come, and it arrived while I was at WW.....
a note from their realtor that he is to make a walk-through...which means soon they will be wanting to sell the house....and then what do we do?

It means no surgery this summer, which means another year of pain. (by no means as close to the pain that they are feeling and enduring) It means having to do all the things you do when you move, find a place that takes dogs, that we can afford, that doesn't have a million steps, that is .........I give up. It means somehow I have to move, and get a kid ready for moving to college. It means so many things, that I am overwhelmed and wanting to eat so much!

What I don't understand is why? Why now? and what am I supposed to do? Not questions that can be answered even if I ask them. I give up.

Summer Challenge Goals:

1. Get out of the house and in the pool four days a week.
2. Schedule meals a week at a time.
3. five fruits and vegetables a day, along with water.

Oh, Cathy, I'm sorry you're feeling so overwhelmed. That is a lot to handle all at once. But I know you're strong and you're smart, and you'll figure out a way to find a new living situation quickly. Keep us posted.

Hugs from me too.

Remember... you'll deal with this whole thing better if you take care of yourself -- eating well will help you feel better.

1. Eat per plan each day
2. Give myself credit each day
3. Exercise 45 minutes/day 5 days/week

Cathy, I will pray that whoever buys the house wants to use it as an investment property and will keep you as a tenant. As long as you have been a good tenant and have taken care of the home, it is worth it to them to keep you knowing you will take care of their investment.

I had a little miracle occur this week, too long of a story to write here. I just want you to know that God cares about the small things too. He loves you and wants what is best for you. Above all He wants you to be happy. He said "I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper and not to harm you!!" So I am praying for you to stay right where you are, for the same rent as you currently pay so that nothing but your landlord changes. I will also keep your landlady in prayer as she goes through her illness.

I just wanted to send you a big cyber hug Cathy.

I know it must seem very overwhelming right now (and moving is a big thing to me too) but you have been through much worse and you'll get through this too.

I'm in the "trying hard not to stress eat camp" too. I keep hearing Denise's words in my head about that not being the answer to anything and not wanting to see inflated numbers on the scale that would make me feel even worse.

summer 7 challenge goals:
- Meditate every day
- Start the day with positive imagery and self talk

Sorry that you were caught unawares by this, Cathy. Do you have anyone who helps you with your financial affairs who could help you look at your housing options and talk through with you and your husband about what options are best for you? I know it's hard to think about right now.

The kid can get himself ready as much as possible, and you definitely need to make sure to ask for help moving from anyone you can -- this is too big a job to handle by yourself.
