check out the may 2008 issue of Health Magazine. Judith Beck is helping three women to lose weight. lots of stuff we are already know but it was a nicely written section.
Goals: 1. Stop thinking like a chronic dieter and start living to inspire. 2. HALT (hungry, anxious, lonely, tired) I will stop and tune in with myself should I experience these things, and respond with something healthy. 3. One word 2008: courage 4. Eat slow and mindfully.

So did I! It's good to see she's getting more exposure. Her book is possibly the most useful "diet" book I've ever read (and stuck to). Cookbooks not withstanding. It's amazing how much better I've handled school and my major inclination to stress eat this school year (after reading her book over last summer's break) compared to last year when I really struggled with everything.
Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.
