My name is Susan. I had the pleasure of meeting Kathleen and attending her cooking class here in Dallas last week. It was a wonderful evening, spent with someone who kind, knowledgeable, genuine and who makes a great gelato or pudding, depending on the class. I have lost a little over a 100 lbs., with about 25 more to go to get to my goal. It has taken almost 2 years but I knew it wouldn't come off over night since I certainly didn't put it on overnight. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and to sharing.
Hi again, Susan! TOLD you they're a great group. We have homework captains on the board. I'm betting you have a few things you could teach us. I'm looking for a sub for Monday, June 21st I think it is - interested??? Check out some of the homework threads. You'll get the hang of it
Hi Susan!! Congratulations on your wonderful success!! Lucky you, getting to meet KD!! This is really a great site and I'm looking forward to hearing more from you too!!
Welcome to the board, Susan. Congratualtions on your weight loss. I also have been a "slow and steady" one. I find, though, that with the slow loss, I am able to maintain it much more easily.
Welcome, Susan, and congratulations on your amazing weight loss success!
As someone who has spent almost a year just getting 33 pounds off, I can certainly relate to the slow and steady method. It can get really frustrating sometimes, but you have the right attitude...we didn't gain it in a month and we aren't going to lose it in a month!
Looking forward to getting to know you more.
