I never look at the Calories function on my pedometer, because the numbers are too depressingly small.

Goal: Stop stress snacking.

That makes TOTAL sense to me. Smiler

I think that I need about 1900 calories to maintain, if I'm not very active or don't exercise.

The average restaurant meal has 2000 calories. If I eat out 2 times in one day and a "healthy snack", like say 450 cals at Jamba Juice...

We are looking at a 4450 calorie day - or I'm over 2550 calories.

I burn about 600 calories an hour on the elliptical. If I get on the thing and push my self really hard... I'll burn of my extra calories... in 4 hours and 15 minutes. Smiler

It is just easier to eat less. Smiler As hard as eating less is... it is better than 4+ hours on the elliptical!
