I got a new walking buddy! His name is Guinness and he is a 5 year old Wheaten Terrier. Unfortunately, I have to wait until he gets over the pneumonia he has before we can do any serious walking.
He is a really good dog so far though. He's been on antibiotics for a few days and acts like he feels a bit better everyday.

Not a bit. Which is another reason he is an excellent match for me and my housekeeping skills.
Wheatens don't shed. They have hair and not fur, so they will get loose hair just like people, but they don't shed like dogs with fur.

I don't know, I shed more hair than some dogs.
So does my maltese's tail...
Congrats on the new walking buddy!

Congratulations to both of you!
My precious furry forgot to Spring Forward his Doggie Clock. When it was time to eat breakfast, he was still sound asleep.
Goal: Stop stress snacking.
Super cute Susan! Does he shed?

Must be the week for Wheatens! I have a new family member who is a Wheaten terrier/poodle mix, called a Whoodle. Murray was a rescue dog, but he is well behaved and already housebroken. We're having a great time.
Here's a link to his
Petfinder profile. Congrats, Dawn!

Really cool, Dawn! I hope he feels better soon and you two can take lots of springtime walks.
Cool! Congrats on the new addition Dawn.
Hope he feels better soon.
