I got a new walking buddy! His name is Guinness and he is a 5 year old Wheaten Terrier. Unfortunately, I have to wait until he gets over the pneumonia he has before we can do any serious walking.

He is a really good dog so far though. He's been on antibiotics for a few days and acts like he feels a bit better everyday.

Not a bit. Which is another reason he is an excellent match for me and my housekeeping skills. Smiler

Wheatens don't shed. They have hair and not fur, so they will get loose hair just like people, but they don't shed like dogs with fur.

I don't know, I shed more hair than some dogs. Razzer So does my maltese's tail... Roll Eyes

Congrats on the new walking buddy!

Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.

Congratulations to both of you! Smiler

My precious furry forgot to Spring Forward his Doggie Clock. When it was time to eat breakfast, he was still sound asleep.

Goal: Stop stress snacking.

Super cute Susan! Does he shed?

Must be the week for Wheatens! I have a new family member who is a Wheaten terrier/poodle mix, called a Whoodle. Murray was a rescue dog, but he is well behaved and already housebroken. We're having a great time.

Here's a link to his Petfinder profile.

Congrats, Dawn!

Congrats, Dawn! Just don't let him sniff at every blade of grass or you won't get much exercise. I know from experience. Smiler
