I'm down 5 pounds since the challenge started. I have 2 more to go until I hit my pre-injury weight and my goal is to do that before x-mas. With three weeks, I'm optimistic that I can do it!

My goal for today and the weekend is to get through so that I'm at the same weight Monday that I am today! I'm going to the movies over lunch today with a friend so the plan is to have popcorn for lunch (not very healthy I know but a super big treat for me) and then I'll have a very veggie heavy dinner - I'm thinking shrimp with red bell peppers, snow peas, zucchini, and mushrooms.

Saturday we are going to a friends house for dinner - they are making chicken fajitas. I don't know if they'll be a build your own or pre-made so I'm going to have to be very, very careful. Still sticking to the one drink plan and no carbs at dinner.

Sunday, dh and I are on our own for dinner and we may do sushi. I will not do alcohol and I will not add anything to my order than the one sushi roll.

The last two nights dh has been encouraging me to join him in a glass of wine. It's been nice flexing that "no thank you" muscle ; )

Ended up being on plan today - had soup for lunch because we went to a later movie, had a small popcorn at the movies but didn't finish it, and then only 1 c of veggies with 3 shrimp for dinner because I just wasn't that hungry. I'm still probably at 1500 calories between the soup and popcorn but I'm happy with that.

Heading off to do some core work before watching a movie.

Have lots of left over veggies for lunch tomorrow which I'm excited about : )

Brie,
Congrats on your loss! That is awesome!

I worked a full day today. I got home about 30 minutes ago and I was super hungry. I decided to eat my snack and my dinner.
It was not a perfect answer, but it was not bad either. I ended up with about 1531 calories and 11 % fat today. Good numbers for me. Luckily our dinner will be interrupted with running here and there so that my having eaten early will not have much of an impact.

I am looking for a super clean weekend. We have lots of holiday food related stuff coming up so that this weekend needs to be clean and lean!

brie, that is pretty awesome!

I had a great thursday and i plan for a great friday. i got on the scale at the doctors office and was shocked at the number. since i am not a fan of numbvers...this just reinforced for me that I remain NOT A FAN of numbers. I have been exercising less, and eating without restricting myself too much (but always trying to be careful), so I guess it caught up with me, in addition to thanksgviing. so i am gong to kick it up a notch on being aware of my choices, and see if i can fit in another short jog or workout after work today. i already did 1 hour and 15 minutes this morning. but we are expecting cold rain saturday so i doubt i will get my run in. i think if i make some small changes, i will be just fine and dandy.
