I'm so excited. I think our pool opens this weekend! It will be a little too cold for me to swim for the next few weeks, but at least it is getting closer.
Then I know for 2 days of the week, I'll get my exercise by swimming.

No, this is a neighborhood pool. It isn't very big, and there aren't any organized events. We have an Aquatic Center about a mile away that is an indoor pool that offers those types of things. I started swimming there last fall, but my DH's schedule got so crazy that he was never home in time for me to be able to go.
I can't really swim laps in our neighborhood pool, but I can get on my kickboard and kick around and still keep an eye on my son while he's swimming. I also get in and do some synchronized swimming type exercises.

YEAH!!!!!! Although I love swimming inside, outside is really better. Today, the Orkon man was spraying the sides of the building and the smell was enough to kill any bugs....try that for cleaning your lungs! Do they have aeorbics or water walking classes at your pool? Our new brochure says adult water walking and aeorbics classes three times a week, that sounds great to me! Meet you at the pool

Dawn, That is great! Variety in exercise programs helps me stay moving. Still too cold here for our community pool to open, but I am loving the warmer weather for walks.
