Hello All. I tried to find a thread to jump on board with...searched Member Intro's....but couldn't find the thread...ah well...
About a month ago I went to the local library to check out some cookbooks with healthy recipes. Much to my delight I came across Chef Kathleen. After reading through her cookbook I went promptly to Amazon and ordered the "Daybook". I am on day 4 of week 1. So far so good.
This week's goals are as follows
Exercise at least 3x's this week for at least 15 minutes ( I LOATHE EXERCISE!)
Incorporate veggies into more of my daily meals (doing really well with that)
And start making meal plans (I actually enjoy that part)
I've really enjoyed the various foods and the excitement of what's for breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc...
Now I've just got to get moving on the physical part..errrr.....
Look forward to getting to know you and sharing thoughts and ideas.

I am a former "loather of exercise" so I can totally relate. Now don't get me wrong, I am not "in love" with exercise but we have been getting much closer, LOL! You are starting with a small, manageable goal-excellent. I have recently done the same. I always seem to set an unmanageable exercise goal and then kick myself for not reaching it.
Best of luck to you and this is a great place to visit and learn.

I have no specific goal(s) right now. I am trying to find the spiritual side of myself that I lost somewhere along the way.
Welcome, Jessymay! Most of us here met (some in real life and some just online) after discovering Kathleen some years ago. Some of us have been on our journeys for 5-6 years and longer. Some are at goal and maintaining, some are still working at it (that's me) and some are just getting started (or restarted).
There is a wealth of wisdom plus eating, meal planning, cooking and exercising information on this board, so hop right in...and feel free to ask us any questions you may have!
