I've been feeling under the weather the past 48 hours and I've been an eating machine. : (

My throat is killing me and seems to feel better when I'm eating something.

Yesterday and today, I felt like I ate constantly between 4 - 7:30. I've been trying to go for healthier things - fruit, air popped corn, 1 tsp of peanut butter, etc... but the quantities are way too much especially when you throw in dinner into the equation.

I even brushed my teeth after dinner and STILL ate more : (

I've also been craving salt big time (hence the popcorn).

I have to do better tomorrow and get back on plan! I need to just stick to my meals and snacks and just stop eating when that is done.

Breakfast will be a sprouted grain muffin w/cream cheese. I'm probably going to treat myself to a large spinach salad loaded with veggies (dressing on the side) for lunch so it takes me a long time to eat and fills me up. Snack will be high protein lf granola with berries (or an apple) and then dinner will be 1 chicken sausage, peppers and roasted potatoes. I have band rehearsal tomorrow night which will help me not eat after dinner but after band will be a problem. I need to come home, brush my teeth and get my body to bed.

I'm a bit nervous as I'm home all afternoon tomorrow so I need to keep myself out of the kitchen!

PS I plan on doing a sled workout tomorrow if I'm feeling up to it. If not, I'll ride the exercise bike.

Today was a much better day. I was on plan and didn't feel the same level of munchiness that I did yesterday.

I'm about to leave for band and then I'm heading right to the bathroom to brush my teeth when I get home.

We had those very high winds yesterday afternoon. They were really disconcerting and sort of eerie.
Take care today. This is a tough speed bump.
Hot tea?
Warm skim milk?
A steam at your gym?
Extra rest time?

I had a terrible night's sleep thanks to a passing winter storm with very high winds but my throat feels better this morning.

I'm hitting the gym for a good workout and sticking to my plan today come hell or high water.

As I posted earlier in the week - I'm just going to DO IT!

Sounds like your throat is definately the problem. You might try getting some Tylenol Sore Throat. Maybe if the pain is gone you want be wanting to eat something to soothe it.

Hope you are feeling better soon. I had a very sore throat a few weeks ago when I had pneumonia and I know exactly what you are talking about, eating made my throat feel better too. I started drinking hot tea with lemon and honey which soothed my throat and having something hot in my stomach made me feel full and not want to eat.

Sounds like your game plan is in place for tomorrow-good luck and feel better!
