Kathy is am amazing spirit! to add...she turns in her last paper this friday and then she will get her masters degree, which has been a long journey because sometimes, kathy feels under the weather for weeks at a time.

Awesome, just awesome. Having lost many friends--including 3 of my closest friends--to AIDS in the 80s and 90s, this is a subject near and dear to my heart. Thanks for sharing, Iz.

Iz,
What a sad yet inspirational story. It compels me to want to help your friend and her cause. What an amazing woman! She took what is a devastating and more than likely life-ending illness and turned it into an educational and therapeutic cause. I applaud her efforts and wish her much success with the project.
