It's already Wednesday in my part of the world, so here goes:

Down 3 lbs! A new low! One "new" pound lost!

I haven't seen these numbers since late 2004 when I was recovering from hernia surgery and was so sore I couldn't eat.

Good job to all! It takes perserverance, and there are days I don't think I have it, but I think we are proving that healthy eating and moving are attributes that we can all have!

Keep it up, you give me inspiration!

Cathy, hope the Core plan worked well for you. I have tried it myself and it's just too hard when I don't have time to cook at home, but I think it's a very healthy plan.

When I weighed in on Saturday I was down 6 lbs from the previous week. I've been on plan for 9 full days. Working on day 10 right now!

I have to confess I was so happy today I overdid it at dinner. Like Garfield, I never met a lasagna I didn't like...

More salad and water tomorrow!!

I'm at 176, same as the last few weeks. I have lost inches though as I mentioned in the NSV thread I put on shorts from last summer and they were loose.

First week on Core (a new more realistic Program with WW) and I am more than my little nervous about weighing in. I really want this to work, because it's so much easier, less paperwork, and more like my family eats. I have felt full, I have been able to tell when I am getting to the point of feeling satisfied. It's great. Plus I have had more energy. HOWEVER, I did get a cortisone shot this week, and that "helps" you retain water...not good, so we'll see what happens. I'll post when I get back.

have a great day all!
Cathy J

A VERY GOOD DAY!

I lost two lbs, even with two cortisone shots, which usually put on five lbs the first week. There is a lot more I can be doing as far as changing to different foods, but for this week, I have a big Smiler on my face!

Congrats Nbox and Brie. Sheri, hope most if it is temporary water gain.

I was down from last week, 160.4, still a hair over my low after getting back from New York City. I am hoping if I can get my act together that I can get into the 150s next week.

Congrats, Nbox!

Bad week for me, but I knew it would be after my trip. I was 165.4-6 today, which is up about 2 pounds from last week. I am still REALLY puffy from fluid retention. We ate out every day while we were gone and I had zero control over where we went to eat as it was usually a large group of people going.

Rest of Summer Goals:
1. Exercise-Cardio: Min. 2-3 walking or DVD cardio workouts per week.
2. Exercise-Weights/Toning: Min. 1 weight plus 1 toning workout per week.
3. Food: Get those veggie servings back up to where they were!
4. Behavior: Start reducing sweets now that the automatic after-meal response is better.

Yeah Nbox! Very cool : )

As for me, I'm the same as last week, slightly over range but considering that I did nothing to watch what I was eating or drinking, I'll take it.
