I agree with Peg on reading through the baby steps folder. Pick a couple of behaviors to work on and modify and go from there.
I applaud you for getting back to the gym and focusing on this so soon after giving birth! It took my YEARS after my dd was born to even think about having the energy.
Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.
Welcome Melissa! Congrats on the baby and the inches lost!
Where to start...
Well, we are big believers in Baby Steps. So I will go out and find our post of baby steps 101 and bump it up for you. This means in a few minutes it will appear towards the top of the post list. This will give you an idea of what other baby steps folks have chosen for themselves and see what you might like to try.
2nd, it's a lot more fun here if you know a bit about who you are chatting with so there is a member introductions post that I will also bump up.
3rd, if you are williing and interested, if you give us a little more about what you are eating right now, you'll get loads of suggestions on how you might want to tweak that. Don't know if you're nursing but if so, let us know that and some of the moms on the list can keep an eye on that for you too. I'm going to bump one more post up from HannahsMommy from a few weeks ago where we did this for her so you can see how that works.
So glad you came out to see us!
