Oops, already fell down on my "start-the-daily-September-challenge-thread-the-night-before" challenge. I have a good reason -- I was distraught over the Giants' loss to the Dodgers! Anyway...
What's going on today, the first Saturday in the challenge?
Not the most successful day for me. I did get in my run, though not the long one I planned for. This was after walking the dog for nearly an hour. We had homemade pizza for dinner, and I had one more piece than I should have. And then...DH had brought home some cookie dough "soy dream" non-dairy frozen dessert.
I'd say tomorrow will be better, but those "faint rumblings" about a cookout over the weekend became a reality. DH invited some friends without telling me -- till this afternoon. They are bringing fresh salmon, which will be good cooked on the grill. I will need to limit myself to one glass of wine with dinner and a single serving of everything. I can also make sure the rest of the day is clean eating, with a good workout before our guests arrive.
so-so day for me. Although my calories were OK (at 1670) I did find myself eating while standing and prepping food a few times. I think I am going to reread the Beck chapter tomorrow and also move on to the next day's task. I see overall improvement, but know I have a bit more room to improve
Today should be an easy day for me without any pitfalls.
Here's my plan: E: 1 hour of cross training - done B: the usual - done L: 2 eggs, 1 chicken sausage, 1/2 serving of hashbrowns (homemade, no oil) S: ff yogurt and fruit D: salmon, zucchini, barley
Continue to eat slowly and be the last to finish!
