Hey everyone. So I had this beautiful idea behind my pork chops for tonight but need some major help.
I would love to bake the pork chops (any savory marinades I am looking for) on top of or along side with some baked apples ( I was thinking to go basic with cinnaimon and cloves and nutmeg) for dinner tonight.
Anybody have any ideas they would like to share? Also, please include what temp. and time for oven.
Thanks!

I usually do my porkchops on the stove. They are good with a bit of curry powder rubbed on them. I will also slice up apples and sautee them to go on top. They curry and the apple are a good combo.
You can also make a yummy pan sauce by deglazing the porkchop pan with a bit of apple cider, add a bit of something green like sage or rosemary, some salt and pepper, perhaps a touch of flour or cornstarch to thicken it up. Yumm...
I might have to have porkchops this evening too... --Francie
We had the best Pork chops on Friday...hmmmm still have one in the refrig. My dh put them on the broiler pan with some water in the bottom, no big deals for seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic; and then baked them for about 30 minutes in 350 degrees. These don't have a bone, so that helps. Flipped them once in the half way mark. Then we topped them with peaches, walnuts, and some apple slices. OMG were they great.
Good luck with yours, it's the other white meat you know.
It's never too late to get it right.
