I was driven off the road this morning on the way home from work. A woman went across three lanes of traffic and to avoid hitting her, I ended up going down an embankment.
The woman didn't even stop but thankfully the guys in the car beside me (also driven off the road on the other side) and the one behind me stopped to make sure I was OK.
Thankfully I was fine and so is my car but I was badly shaken up and it took me over an hour to stop crying/shaking.
Worse still is that my mil was re-hospitalized this morning. We're still waiting to hear test results but things haven't been going very well. We were supposed to do down in two weeks to visit but we may end up going sooner depending on what's going on.
As always, prayers are very much appreciated.
So far, I've done a much better job than yesterday in not stress eating. Probably because my stomach is in knots right now.
Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.
Wow, so scary. I can't help but be reminded of today's homework which was to say what we are most enjoying about our new lives - and how Judy's was being alive I'm just so glad you're alright, Brie.
Big Hugs, Lynne

I hope someone got that woman's license number. She shouldn't get away with that. I'm glad you're OK and dealing with it so well. Will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Bee, you poor thing!! That was horrible, and you persevered!! So proud of you and so greatful that you weren't hurt. I am sending up a prayer that you have a very peaceful and restful night's sleep and a much better day tomorrow!!

Yep... me too.
Recalling an accident that wasn't a close call. It was a long time ago, and I still think of it nearly every time I drive on the freeway, which is often.

How terrifying -- I am very glad you are okay. I know what the roads look like around you and some of those hills can be pretty steep. I can't imagine how scared you must have been.
Sorry to hear your mother-in-law is not doing well. Take care of yourself.

Hugs, Brie!!!! LORD, that sounds scary! I know even when I've been in some close calls on the road, I am shaking forever before I calm down. I'm so glad the other car stopped to be sure you were okay!
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
