I tried McCann's Quick & Easy Steel Cut oatmeal, and give it a thumbs up.

It looks like they just took conventional steel cut oatmeal, and cut it into finer pieces, so it cooks faster. It retains the original's excellent taste and "nonmushy" texture.

In a nutshell, the stovetop directions are to bring water to a boil, add the oatmeal, and cook for 5-7 minutes.

The ingredients are "100% wholegrain Irish oats" - period. No "junk" added.

I serve mine with warmed milk, cinnamon, and dark honey.

I have both kinds, the regular steel cut and quick cooking, love them both!

I have no specific goal(s) right now. I am trying to find the spiritual side of myself that I lost somewhere along the way.
