I am still holding at my 2 pound loss. I was showing a 3 pound loss on Friday- the day before we left. Today I am just down 2 pounds after a few meals out.

How's everyone else doing?

I was up 4 pounds after coming home from NY but have been out of commission with this cold/flu since. It's also that tom.

I haven't done a lick of exercise this week and spent most of the time in bed.

Unfortunately I've been hungry. Even worse, the only foods that taste right are carbs so I've doing lots of toast, pasta, etc...

I didn't get on the scale today and cringe to think what it's going to be tomorrow.

Usually I come back from a trip and fall right back into my eating plan and extra exercise. None of that happened.

I went to the Y this morning and had a Hydrostatic Body Fat Test.

I had my first on on June 30.

Today I weighed 195 on their doctor's scales. That is three lbs down from the 6-30 numbers. And my body fat % has fallen from 43.5 in June to 41.1 today .

I have gained 3lbs of lean muscle and have lost 6 fat lbs. since June.

My Resting Metabolic Rate is 1629.

You wear your swim suit and get in this big metal tub of water that has a huge scale in the bottom. You get down in a position to do push ups and then you submerge your whole body in the water and blow all the air out of your lungs for about 5 seconds.

If you are interested in more information you can look them up at www.bodyfattest.com

I'm up 1 from the weekend, but it was all salt.

(There was a very, very tasty brat with sauerkraut, spaetzle, and warm german chocolate cake involved after my half. I'd probably have been back to normal yesterday if I hadn't gone and eaten noodle soup for lunch.)

Hopefully I'll be back on track scale-wise tomorrow.

I didn't step on the scale this morning but my hands and feet were very swollen so I'm sure I'm up at least a couple pounds.
