Hey everyone. Well, I bought fresh figs for the first time (that is a mouth full) at the grocery. I have had dried before, but never made anything with the fresh.
Do I peel the skin or can I eat the skin? Any fun ideas for the figs???? I can't wait to get into them, they are so pretty.

Mother has a couple of fig bushes. You can eat them just the way they are, skin and all after washing them. Dd loves to just pop them in her mouth. (Just don't eat too many at one time if you know what I mean ) You can come over and pick some if they are not all gone for the season. If they are I can let you know next year.
