At this point, I just need to survive the next semester. Two classes was easy, and I really want to get this degree done, so I am attempting 3 classes + 2 part time jobs + house/hubby/dog needing attention.

Oh yeah, I also need to keep exercising and not let this schedule be my excuse for lots of eating out.

I hired a housekeeper, but she decided she didn't want the job. So now I have to decide if I can rely on DH (very little in the way of help from May to the present) or should keep looking.

I'm tired just thinking about all of this. Roll Eyes

Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.

I invite you to take a moment in the next day or 2 to tell us a little about what your current career goals/needs are and what you hope to get out of partcipating in this thread.

I am currently seeking a new position in the Denver area in computer programming/technical lead. I am looking either for an opportunity to really take my technical lead roles further &/or an opportunity to really build my technical skills in .NET as this is the newest technology that I am a bit behind on. The main impetus for my job change however is that I want to live back nearer to my family and friends because I am missing lots of things in their lives by living 50+ miles away.

I hope to have another place for accountability primarily. I am working a full time job and already finding it challenging to do a proper job search. Potential jobs to apply for are languishing in my inbox, follow up isn't getting completed and I think I need some help making myself get on the ball. I've had lots of luck in the past with this sort of electronic accountability. I also really enjoy hearing what others are doing in their careers and will love to hear your insights as decisions come up in my career.

Ok, your turn!

Peg
