I've been munching all day on these blasted x-mas cookies! They are soooo good but I need to stop and stop now.

My first mistake was waiting too long to eat lunch. As a result, I felt super hungry so in addition to my healthy spinach salad and apple, I had a couple of cookies. (They are really small so that wasn't too terrible).

But then I walked by the kitchen again and a couple more leapt into my mouth.

A short while ago, I had my snack which ended up being more cookies!

Thank goodness dh is home tonight and he will eat the rest.

URGH : (

And here I thought Sesame Street taught Cookie Monster that cookies were only to be eaten in moderation!!! Wink

Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.

That happens to me, too. I've read the same of others on the WW board.

Thankfully our cookies are gone. I don't think I could have managed with them in the house for much longer : )

Me too! What is it with the bloat?!
I spent Monday through Wednesday in a marathon bake session -- six varieties -- and got a bunch of them packed up & mailed to my family back in Michigan.

I had a good plan, and had bought the tilapia and chicken breasts, veggies and fruit, but the COOKIE MONSTER got me, too! Chocolate chip and apricot oatmeal; brownies (mmm the batter!) and Russian teacakes; cream cheese sugar cookies with raspberry jam ... mmm...
I have gained 2 pounds this week and my eyes are puffy. Finally I put the cookies into the freezer, but I like the idea about putting them in the trunk of the car! I will move them right away ...

I hope you enjoyed your treat! A few cookies won't ruin everything. It's hard when you get hungry and there is tempting stuff around.

Do you have a trunk in your vehicle? That's where I put all the things I don't think I should be eating...didn't quite get there fast enough with the peanut brittle last night, though. In SD, right now, it is colder outside than in my frig. So I put a cooler in the back of the van, and put the food I shouldn't eat in there. At least, at the VERY least, I have to walk outside and think about if I really want that food or not. It's much easier to pick a healthy snack than one I have to slip on ice to go get.

It's never too late to get it right.

Put them up high... some place you have to drag a chair to get them... like the top shelf of the linen closet. Or I like Cobismom trunk of the car cookie storage spot.

My snack today will be a cookie, too... but I'm only baking 3 cookies. Smiler And I suppose we’ll have apples for dessert tonight.

And some tofu eggnog... mmmmmmm tofu and whiskey... who knew that it was such a good combination?!?!

Decorating the tree this afternoon... hence the deviation from the healthier snack... and the early start on the liquor at 3pm.Eeker

I seem to have gotten a handle on things. I moved the cookies off the counter and into the pantry - out of sight, out of mind.

Sheri - I've eaten more than my fair share of cookies this week too but today got especially challenging.

Do you need to get rid of them before tonight? Even putting them in the truck or garage might help.

I commiserate, Bee. As you may have read, I had my own battle with the cookie monster earlier this week, but I let mine go beyond one day. As a result, while my weight isn't really up much at all, I am feeling SO INCREDIBLY FAT AND BLOATED this week that it isn't funny.
