Since I posted asking about Cathy, I thought I'd give an update on everything here......
Doing well, just busy busy busy! Right now we (my husband and I along with another couple) are preparing to cook for our church's youth group for their Spring Break "missons" "trip" (it will actually be a local community service time where they are serving in various aspects in our local community for the week....this is the 4th year that they've done this and it is awesome!). Our oldest daughter (16 y.o) took driver's ed last week, got her driving permit on Wednesday, and has her first behind the wheel driver's training session this afternoon.
I'm continuing with my eating plan, and daily exercise and in the past 2 months have lost 10 pounds. Even more exciting is that Don and Bekah have both been continuing with daily exercise (and they don't have a choice in the healthy eating thing....they eat what I eat ) and have both lost a few pounds as well (I don't know how many, but you can see it on both of them).
Blessings,
Lori

Lori, Great to hear from you! 10 lbs-woohoo!! Keep it up, sounds like you are doing great. My dd is also about to turn 16 and ready to drive. Part of me is nervous and part of me is excited(meaning I don't have to drive her everywhere, yet I want to drive her everywhere so I know she is ok). My dd and SO, like your husband and dd are also wanting to join the gym and workout w/me so they too will get daily exercise.
Sounds like you are doing well and nice to hear from you!
Jill
Goal for next 6 weeks:
Go to the gym 3x/week for a minimum of 45 minutes each time
how delightful to hear from you Lori! and congrats with the weight loss, and the new driver out on the road!
my dd gets her full license in june and it does bring a sense of growing up, eh???
Goals: 1. Stop thinking like a chronic dieter and start living to inspire. 2. HALT (hungry, anxious, lonely, tired) I will stop and tune in with myself should I experience these things, and respond with something healthy. 3. One word 2008: courage 4. Eat slow and mindfully.
