Sandy, thanks for asking. As I posted in the Colonoscopy thread, everything went well and the doctor said she found no polyps or anything else abnormal so I wouldn't have to have another colonoscopy for 10 years. Good news on all fronts.
I did have pain during the test that I didn't expect (I had been told by most everyone that I wouldn't even know the test was in progress) but the pain, while intense, was short-lived. I am still very glad I had the test for the peace of mind.
I just found out recently (after I'd already scheduled my colonoscopy) that my older brother had polyps when he had his test 3 years ago, so I'm glad that I had the test.
I encourage everyone to have it when the time comes.
