I LOVE my digital scale!!! I use it every SINGLE day.

It weighs in both grams and oz. EVERY product on the market has serving sizes listed on the package in grams.

I weight EVERYTHING on it. Put my bowl on it, add 40 g. cereal, zero it; add 8 oz milk, zero it; add 150 g. frozen fruit.

Measure ice cream with it... 106 g. for 1/2 cup… or 141 g. for 2/3 cup, if we are splitting a pint 3 ways.

Weigh out 2 oz of pasta...

¼ oz of cheese…

I have a Salter basic model, sort of like the Salter 6055

I used a cheap-o $10 scale for 3 months and it worked fine... but I LOVE!!!! the digital scale.

Some scales will do negative numbers for you. You can put a jar of peanut butter on it and take out X number of grams... mine ain't that fancy.

KD has a good scale review…

I have a Soehlne digital that I bought from amazon. This scale is BEAUTIFUL...in fact, it hangs on the wall right next to the stove because I don't have any counter space and I don't mind it hanging there because it is so pretty (very scifi looking)! It ain't cheap though...I think I paid in the neighborhood of $60-70. Ouch!

I REALLY like my salton digital. The only problem is that it only weighs up to 5#, and if I'm weighing chunks of meat to cut into smaller portions, it sometimes is inconvenient.
