I'm up 3lbs.....more than I thought...extra cardio this week. Also, we are painting our bedroom, so that will be extra work as well.

I've never posted in this "virtual weigh-in" but think it's a good idea to keep me accountable. I am hanging around somewhere between 171 and 174. I cannot seem to budge the scale below 171, esp. after the holiday weekend. Hopefully my new goal of exercise 3x/wk will help!

Still at 215 this week.
I am walking more so that should take effect sometime. And I got some hand weights at Target over the weekend to hopefully build some upper body calorie burners (otherwise known as muscle Smiler).

This Week - 222 lbs

I am back to what I was two weeks ago. I am working on another 2 pounds for next week.

167 and not too happy about it! I came back from vacation aroun 166, but the salt factor was high yesterday. I know it is water weight, but I really want to be back at a solid 165 here soon!

I was up 1.2 from last week -- I didn't watch things as well with the holiday and it showed on the scale.

This week: 153.2

Not sure how much if any of that 1/2-pound gain may be water retention from all the eating out in Philadelphia but I'm just happy that it's not any more than that! I think all the walking helped a LOT to keep the weight gain down.


Personal Healthy Habits Challenge - 10/1 to 12/31/08:
1. Exercise: Get back to consistently working out 3-5 X week.
2. Food: Get back to consistently preparing healthy lunches for the week with increased veg servings.
3. Behavior: Reduce intake of sweets.

Today: 155 lb, and it's my TOM

My extra-active weekend paid off. We decided to try to conserve gas and picked mainly activites we could walk to.


Fall goals:
1. Bike 40-50 miles a week
2. Prepare new garden bed for next season
3. Heal my back
