Start: 143.5 / 144
End of week one: 141 -- on target
End of week two 139 -- on target

BUT, I gained back 1 pound, so I'm at 140. As usual, my weekend shenanigans set me back -- a few extra sweets and beviies didn't help. Usually, my beginning and midweek efforts put me back on track.

So by the end of this week, I hope to be at 137. Holy-moley.

I had a couple of NSVs as well. Friday, I bowled with an 11 lb ball, with minimal effort. I usually use a 9, maybe a 10. I was also able to start the mower by myself on Saturday, and I had to do so about a dozen times.

For the full weight / food / exercise log, check out my blog, linked from my sig line.

Thanks y'all!

I haven't really thought too much about my long-term plan. I think what I've been doing is totally maintainable.

I can foresee that I might get sick of running though, and should look for an alternate activity that has a lot of "bang for the buck" to sub in a day or two a week.

The only thing I can think of is biking. But that would require a LOT of factors - service my bike, find a place to ride, find a place to store my bike so it doesn't decay again -- etc etc.

So the jury's still out on that one.

You go! I love how you are going for this in spite of my (and others) saying that 2 pounds per week might be too lofty.
Awesome!
