Hi I feel like its been a year since Ive been on. I have really missed you guys. I have emailed a couple of you to stay in touch, but not really actively participated. Its been a rough year, dh out of work 8 mos and a couple of months we had no income at all. finally we are both working and things are hopefully going to get better soon. I havent really gained any weight, but i havent lost either. I recently started looking at my cookbooks again and am trying to get back on track. I feel that this time this is actually going to work. I am committed to making small changes. I think before I tried to do too much at once. I am trying to not be so hard on myself. I have really missed you guys
Thanks so much for all the welcome backs!!! I just cant wait to get back on track. I'm trying not to let stress get the best of me. Thank goodness dh finally found a job, esp just as he starts we needed 1600 dollars worth of work on the car lol. I couldnt imagine how we would handle that if he werent working. Thank goodness my inlaws were able to help us til we are back on our feet! Im going to try to take it a step at a time. this week im going to focus on planning 3 healthy meals that dont involve meat by products and orange powdered cheese. I'll let everyone know how that works out
Christine, how wonderful to see you again! I'm so glad you've come back to see us. Like the others, I'm tremendously impressed that you've managed to maintain your weight during such an incredibly stressful time. I would think that would make it much easier, mentally, to get back on track, because you don't have to backtrack to lose any gained weight! YAY!
Look forward to seeing more posts from you!!

Christine, Welcome back. I totally agree with Denise--- staying the same with the stress is a HUGE accomplishment. There is no need to beat up on yourself- instead I think you can afford to pat yourslef on the back for holding your own.
I am glad that you feel that this is the time. I had a few "tries" before something really stuck with me. I knew when it was different. I was willing to do the work over the long haul.
I am so glad to have you back. I know that things have been rough, but, they are on the mend now. It sounds like you know where you need to go to get things done, so we are here to jump up and down, or hold the box of kleenex when necessary. Keep coming back, lady!
