I have a glass easter egg and the lid comes off so you can fill it with what you want. My first idea is to fill it with candy but I know that I would eat it and I don't want that. What else would be cute in it for decoration??

If you wanted to add some nesting materials, you could go to Michaels or Cost Plus world market, and get some mylar basket stuffing (like easter grass, but it is made of colored mylar....I have seen it in those glass eggs and it is very beautiful and somewhat elegant looking because of the shine.

Depending on big the glass egg is... small citrus fruit like kumkwats, star fruit.

What about specialty pasta?

Think food. It is beautiful and you could change it out as you cook/eat the stuff.

Dried flowers, potpourie, scented wax?
