The homebuying process is SO trying...Lord Have Mercy! I am at work ONE DAY this week and I feel like I have spent a third of it on the phone with various people in the settlement process taking care of last-minute changes and issues. Really frustrating. I think by 5 p.m. tomorrow, I will be ready for a cocktail!!! LOL

Oh we have had several conversations today...not to say that more stuff won't come up between now and Wednesday at 3 p.m., but we have been in regular contact via email (and sometimes phone) since the process began.

Sheri - You may want to consider calling whomever is handling your closing to be sure that everything is in order so there are no surprises once you get there.

Best of luck and enjoy your first Thanksgiving as a home owner : )

Well, the day that I've been waiting for is almost here...I settle on my new home on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. I am working Tuesday and expect Tuesday evening to be crazy busy packing the car and such since I have to be out of the house early Wednesday morning.

Please hold me in your prayers or good thoughts for everything to go smoothly on Wednesday, and have a marvelous Thanksgiving. I am thankful for so many things...and this board and you folks are definitely some of them.

My unit is one floor but it's a 2-floor building. My upstairs neighbors enter their home through a door right next to mine which leads into a small vestibule and then upstairs.

I really wanted something all on one level as my knees aren't getting any better (nor are my hips) and that's what I got here. Smiler

Rest of Summer Goals:
1. Exercise-Cardio: Min. 2-3 walking or DVD cardio workouts per week.
2. Exercise-Weights/Toning: Min. 1 weight plus 1 toning workout per week.
3. Food: Get those veggie servings back up to where they were!
4. Behavior: Start reducing sweets now that the automatic after-meal response is better.

Congrats, Sheri - it's lovely! One floor or two? And if only one, then how do your upstairs neighbors enter their home - is there a back stair?

I'm not sure if we define jumpsuit differently, but that isn't a jumpsuit as I define it. Smiler It is a matching pair of pants and hoodie with a T-shirt under it. But thanks for the compliment. Smiler

I did take pix of them but just didn't post them. They aren't anything fancy (unlike some of the models I looked through which had amazing bathrooms but were much more expensive) and it's hard to get much of a picture from the doorway.
