Somehow I managed to come out of the weekend with no weight gain. That won't continue if I don't buckle down, especially with Thanksgiving on Thursday.
I plan on being very veggie heavy for the next three days and no alcohol or dessert.
Plan for today: B: usual L: chicken salad wrap S: veggie soup and fruit D: hopefully some fresh fish if something looks good at the market and 2 veggies E: kettlebells
Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.

I too found out my gym is open Thanksgiving morning from 7:30AM-12:30PM. We are not having dinner until 4PM, so, I have plenty of time to get in some good cardio in the AM, maybe a weight workout too if I feel like it.

I have no specific goal(s) right now. I am trying to find the spiritual side of myself that I lost somewhere along the way.
Mostly on plan today. DH threw me for a loop when he called needing a ride to the DMV at lunchtime (he usually walks to work). We got lunch at a cafe nearby while he waitend for his number to be called -- which took an hour. So lunch was a hummus and veggie sandwich instead of sushi. For dinner, I added broccoli slaw to the menu. Had an intense workout with my trainer this morning, so I'm feeling back on track.
Crappy day for me. Ugh! My effort now is not to bash myself and to get a good working plan for tomorrow. Here it is: B: toast, jam, pear L: leftovers- already portioned. S: milk tea D: pasta and some leftover veg/meat from the weekend.
I cooked a good amount of meat this weekend for our guests- lots of meals, lots of guests. I am eating it over the next days, but plan to get back to my more veganish eating soon... I feel better eating "veganish" but am also enjoying some turkey and beef ; )
i had a great one hour and 10 min workout this morning. b: chicken and brown rice soup. s: sf low fat yogurt l: squash soup with turnip greens d: maybe a soy corn dog, small sf ice cream
i am fighting faituge due to TOM. hopefully, i will be able to get to the gym tomorrow. just found out that the gym will be open in the morning on thanksgiving so i have no excuse not to get some physical activity in.
Goals: 1. Enjoy life! 2. Be aware, be awake, pay attention. 3. One word 2010: faith

Today I rededicate myself to the challenge! The weekend (starting Friday) was a bit of train wreck from a calorie and quantity perspective. I am, however, going to give myself credit for staying away from the chips and brownies my teammates brought to the race and offered to everyone.
But back to Monday -- had Kashi cereal with walnuts, raisins and rice milk for breakfast. Planning sushi for lunch; fruit and a cheese stick for afternoon snack; and turkey burgers with sweet potato fries for dinner.
