Last night dh and I were perusing the grocery store that is just a block away and found that they have whole frozen WILD CAUGHT keta salmons for 2.99 a pound. This is a phenomenal price for farm raised salmon around here and is absolutily a miracle for the wild caught. Anyhow, I don't know what to do with a whole salmon.....it is frozen, so how do I defrost a whole salmon?

Blessings,

Lori

Like a turkey? In a sink of ice water?

OR... take a hack saw and cut off the parts you need?

I've frozen cooked salmon. If you cook the whole thing, you can freeze the cooked leftovers.
