Powerwalk on the boardwalk

This pic will be the final shot in the photo slideshow that a friend is doing of my life and career for my retirement party on Tuesday.

Wow Judy, that's great! I think it is so cool that you can get out there and exercise. Weren't you not able to do much physically for a while from being sick?

I'm sure getting out of the house feels great too! I'm so happy for you.

Jill

1. do 4 laps on walking track without "resting"
2. do 1 mile (17laps) in 20 minutes (3miles per hour)

I walked 2 miles on the track at the Y this morning Big Grin.

Last week I would get tired after a couple of laps and sit down a while.

Yesterday & today I tried taking a 30second breathing break at the end of each lap and I didn't have to sit down a single time either day. The only reason I did not make 2 miles yesterday was that we had to leave by 3pm to take my mother to dinner & I ran out of time.
