Thursday - first day of intermediate band class. No exercise.

Friday - originally planned to go to Y... but that wasn't going to happen. Then planned to do 20 mins on elliptical machine... did 25 mins Smiler. Busy, BUSY day and glad I exercised.

Saturday - nothing - more band busy-ness.

Sunday - Walked 3 miles round trip to farmers market.

I so hear you. The dog got me up last night and at 2am I was obsessing about the fact that I forgot to tell the kids which book to buy for band class. Thought about this for 2.5 hours... That and the fact that I have 13 kids who what to play trumpet and can get a hold of 7 trumpets… 3am isn’t exactly the best time to be solving these “problems”. (And if these are my biggest problems… life is pretty good! Smiler)

I always have about 6 nights a year that I can’t sleep because of band… and last night was one of them.

Am sooooo tired today (that's why I missed the morning flychat) but I'm glad that I exercised, but it was hard.

The convergence of change of seasons/cooler weather and the end of vacation and return to work has turned me into a total lazy butt. I have not exercised since Sunday, and that is not at ALL like me. I have been awaking during the night a lot and, as a result, when the alarm goes off I am not ready to wake up. I overslept both yesterday and today but today I was actually way late for work.

I need to get a grip on this.

Personal Healthy Habits Challenge - 10/1 to 12/31/08:
1. Exercise: Get back to consistently working out 3-5 X week.
2. Food: Get back to consistently preparing healthy lunches for the week with increased veg servings.
3. Behavior: Reduce intake of sweets.

Monday: 3.54 miles walking in the park, for a season total of 165.90 miles.

Crud. I don't have any pretty fall pictures of the park to share. According to the weatherman, this year's weather wasn't conducive to pretty fall foliage.

Sunday - walked 3 miles round trip to farmers market.

Monday - went to Y. The time on the bike went by fast (good music makes a huge difference). The first set of weights was ok. Second set was boring... so it was only a boring exercise session vs. the usual boring, boring!, BORING!!! session. Smiler

I can't wait for it to snow that I can get the feeling of "All of those boring minutes have really been worth it!!"

1 hour water aerobics done.

Sadly no belly dancing tonight as I will be at the Monday Night Football game.

But I am sure I will burn of lots of calories yelling and clapping. Big Grin
