but I am bad about drinking water these days. I did manage to try something today. When I got home from the gym today I pulled out one of my fav. water pitchers and sliced up some lemon and then added some fresh mint.
HOLY COW it was SO refresshing. I am really going to do more of this for the spring. Cucs will be what I add in the summer (I am hoping we can get some in our garden this year).
Just wanted to share...

When I'm not sick, I usually start the day with a large glass of water which I drink in one long gulp (it's tasty but I also want to make sure I get it over and done with). The next glass is at lunch, then at dinner. The smart thing to do would be to add a glass or two during the am and pm, but that's where I fail and instead go for hot sweetened tea. It seems like a huge effort to have that glass of water, when actually it isn't...
Since I have a cold at the moment, drinking cold water isn't even on my radar, but when I'm better I know I'll get back into the habit. Sliced cukes, orange or other citrus and maybe even strawberry or raspberry (frozen maybe) will also give a great taste.

I drink my normal amounts of water. I pretty much drink coffee in the morning and water the rest of the day. Sometimes I drink unsweetened tea at lunch.

I have a water bottle next to me wherever I am, as I have done for years. I am one of those people who doesn't mind the taste of water by itself--as long as it isn't nasty-tasting.
My tap water in Alexandria was wonderful until the past 5 years or so I lived there, when they started over-chlorinating it. My tap water here in Delaware was VERY nasty tasting to me for the first 8 months or so, but I'm adapting to it.
I now drink a combo of purchased bottled water and filtered refrigerator-dispensed tap water and I find there to be very little difference in the taste between the two. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Sheri in Reho,
