I will be heading down the road to Delaware tomorrow morning, and most folks will be much too busy for traditional homework, so I thought I'd just keep it simple:

Your homework for Thursday is to:

1. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy time with friends or family!

2. Have some of whatever you really want, but watch your portion sizes. Think about what would REALLY make this a special meal to your palate and focus on those items.

3. Be aware of allowing your body time to signal you that it's full by waiting 20 minutes or more before going back for second helpings.

4. Work off some of those extra calories Thursday or Friday--take a walk, ride a bike, play with the kids or dog, or do intentional exercise. Doesn't have to be intense--just move.

5. Travel safely, if you're travelling.

Enjoy!

#4 will not be a problem. I am waitressing tomorrow(dd is with her dad this year) and I am working upstairs which means up and down the steps about 100 times so I will be burning major calories and won't really have any time to eat until after work.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
Jill
