| my best friends husband started running marathons. then he bought a bike, and did a Across North Carolina event--he fell in love with the bike. swimming was the one thing he had to learn, so he took a class. i think Dena can do just fine, and having dreams and goals is always a great thing.
Goals: 1. Enjoy life! 2. Be aware, be awake, pay attention. 3. One word 2010: faith

| It's great to have a goal! Once she gets comfortable swimming and biking, she should start with a sprint triathalon and work up from there : )
Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.

| I've thought about doing the ones offered by our rec center at school, but so far I've not done so because of schedules and being pretty sure I'd push myself farther right now than I can handle. I can run, swim and bike happily for long periods of time, but all three lumped together kind of feels like it's out of my current ability. But they do sound like a ton of fun.
Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.
