I got sad news yesterday. A friend of mine was killed in an auto accident. She wasn't a very experienced driver and swerved to miss a dog and hit a utility pole.

I'm sad about my friend but I will see many other friends who I have not seen in a couple of years next weekend.

The memorial will be in the same town that my mom and Lori4SquareMom live in. Hopefully, Lori will be in town and we will be able to get together for coffee.

I remember a line from a poem or hymn "Joy and Sorrow are woven fine". That is sort of how I feel right now. Sad about my friend and happiness at seeing other, old friends and meeting a new one.

Lori, I sent you an email...

Denise...I've been out of town all weekend and just saw this news. I'm very sorry for the loss of your friend. I hope that coming together with old friends (and meeting a new one) will comfort you through this time.

Hi, I think that it was in Visalia. She was on her way to work and worked at Kawea Delta. She had been there for about 15 years and had started out as a cash register clerk in the cafeteria and had gone to back to school and had moved up and was a dietician.

What day are you moving?
We got a BUNCH of stuff moved yesterday. I've got my sister's van and we'll pack up and move the rest of the little stuff over today and then mover guys are coming to do the funiture on Tuesday.

I looks like computer will be unplugged tonight or tomorrow now... Smiler

I've got this system when doing short little moves of using grocery bags. Empty the bookcase and put all the books in groc. bag. I didn't lift any much heavier than a heavy bag of groc. yesterday - but probably carried 50 bags to the car and out of the car. What a work out!

Oh Denise, I am so sorry about your friend. I know it is very difficult to deal with a sudden loss like that.

Denise,

I am, so sorry to hear about your friend, I actually read your email before reading this, and am really happy that you can come down this weekend (and I will be home), but am also sad for your friend. Did your friend's accident happen here in Visalia? I was going to say that I haven't heard anything about it, but that's probably because I've been out of town for the past 4 days Smiler

Denise, I will give you a call on Monday at some point. My Rebekah has a friend here until Monday afternoon sometime. Once she's left, I'll give you a call. What day are you moving?

Blessings,

Lori
